Our Story

How we got started and where we are headed

Hearing God's Call

The Journey Begins

Three years before The Fountain officially began, Pastor Andy Lett and his wife, Mandy, began to hear God’s call to eventually plant a new church designed to connect people who have been disconnected from the church, a relationship with Jesus Christ, and who were searching for the life that God offers.

Making the Move

Called to Suwanee

In July 2011, the Lett family moved to the area as Andy was appointed to plant The Fountain Church. We started with just 2 people and a big dream from God to reach new people with the good news of Jesus. Nine months later, The Fountain officially began.

Opening Our Doors

The Fountain Launches

The Fountain Church officially launched on March 4, 2012. From the beginning, what has driven our ministry is God’s vision to reach new people with the love of Jesus Christ.

We started weekly worship at Johns Creek Elementary School, a recognizable community location, which matches our vision to be a church for the whole community and a church that goes where people are to bring them closer to Jesus.

Accelerating Our Vision

Merging Two Strong Churches

On April 10, 2022, Sugarloaf Church merged with The Fountain Church to become The Fountain Church – as ONE Church for the sake of growing God’s Kingdom. Sugarloaf had been originally planted in 1996 and the Sugarloaf campus became our first permanent campus with a 24/7 presence. Both churches came together with a unified Kingdom-advancing vision to impact more people.

Our Future Campus

Purchase of Land in the heart of Suwanee

In January 2025, The Fountain officially purchased 7.6+ acres of land in the heart of Suwanee across from North Gwinnett High School. This new campus will allow The Fountain to have a regional impact to reach more people in Gwinnett, Forsyth, Fulton and beyond. We will be building our new campus soon.
